The title of the article I chose was Overprescribing and Inappropriate antibiotic selection for children with pharyngitis. This article was published in JAMA pediatrics in 2014 and was written by Shapiro et al. Th articles is about a cohort study that analyzed data from the National Ambulatory Medical Care survey and the national hospital ambulatory medical care survey. The study found that over 11 million pediatric visits for pharyngitis occurred annually from 1997 to 2010.
