Site Evaluation Presentation Summary Rotation 9 OBGYN

During my site evaluation, I presented a 26-year-old male presented to the clinic care complaining of vaginal itching and discharge for 4 days, as well as for her annual visit. I made sure to outline the sexual history, obstetric history, and gynecological history. I outlined the pelvic exam and made sure to describe the discharge that I visualized. After presenting the physical exam I broke down my differential diagnosis and the reasoning behind all of them. Next, I went into detail within regard to what the work up for the patient would entail and the different tests that I did to rule in or out a diagnosis. Finally, I developed a plan based on the diagnosis that was confirmed with the work up that was done. When I presented my plan, I made sure to explain why I was doing each portion of it and how it was beneficial to the specific case. I received thorough feedback from my evaluator and will use this criticism to elevate my future h and p site evaluations.
