During my mid site evaluation, I presented a 17-year-old male with no past medical history who was presenting with first time onset seizure. I felt comfortable presenting this case because I had done a lot of research on the possible causes for first time seizures in pediatric patients. During the presentation I outlined the different tests I would do such as CBC, Urine toxicology, Blood alcohol level, CMP, and CT. The title of the article I chose was Overprescribing and Inappropriate antibiotic selection for children with pharyngitis. This article was published in JAMA pediatrics in 2014 and was written by Shapiro et al. Th articles is about a cohort study that analyzed data from the National Ambulatory Medical Care survey and the national hospital ambulatory medical care survey. The study found that over 11 million pediatric visits for pharyngitis occurred annually from 1997 to 2010.      For my first rotation I did psychiatry, at first, I was very nervous because this was my very first rotation and it was psychiatry so I did not really know what to expect regarding what I would have to do and what I might encounter. At this time, I was not very familiar with how to set up a psychiatric based history and physical because I was only familiar with how to do this in the medical setting.
